Multi Links instructions
Version 2.0.0.17
How to Use
You can simply draw a box around a group of links by clicking and holding the right mouse button. You then drag the box around the links you want to open and let go of the right mouse button to open them using the default action.
Alternatively, you can left click after drawing a selection with the right mouse button still pressed down, and choose any of the actions from the menu to save time by changing the actions in options:

Cancel
If you would like to cancel a selection, you can do this by simply left clicking after you have drawn a selection and choosing cancel, or pressing the Esc Key on your keyboard.
Opening Groups
If you want to open a group of links but no all of them you can use the Ctrl, Shift or Alt key to draw multiple selection boxes around the links you desire. Alternatively, you can select all the links and then deselect links by holding down the Ctrl or Shift key and drawing boxes around the links that you do not want selected.
You can also tick the box which requires a modifier key (Ctrl, Shift or Alt) to be pressed to activate the selection.
Options
If you would like to customize your addon you can go to Tools > Add-ons > (Find Multi Links) and click Options.
You can also see the Multi Links icon in the Firefox status bar. You can right click the icon and select "Multi Link Options...".
Customize
You can customize Multi Links in a variety of different way to your liking by going in to Multi Links Options:
General Tab:

- If you would prefer to take the status bar icon off, you can do that here by simply un-checking the "show status bar icon". To re-enable it again, you'll need to go Tools > Add-ons > (Find Multi Links) and click Options.
- Smart selection is for search engines. It helps you by only selecting search listing results rather than including other links such as "similar", "cached" or "filter" as well as other links that the search engines display.
- "Block same links in one opening sequence" blocks the same URL opening more than once. This is especially useful when an image or another link is next to the link you are opening and you have a big list of links to open. This saves you opening them all and then closing all the duplicate tabs after.
- You can change the button you wish to use to either the left, middle or right mouse button.
- You can now choose to have a modifier key. We currently let you select either Shift, Ctrl or Alt. If you would like Multi Links to only work once the modifier key is held down then check "select only if this key is pressed".
- Multi Links sets the maximum number of links at 40. Anymore than this and Firefox may run extremely slowly or crash but you can change this to a higher number if you wish.
- You can now scroll down as page while drawing a selection box. To change the scroll speed you can choose between x1 and x10 speeds.
Actions Tab:

- "Open in new tabs" will open all selected links in new tabs and keep you on your current page. "Activate new open tab" will take you to the tab which you just opened.
- "Open in new windows" will open selected links in new windows in the background and keep you on the same window. "Activate new opened window" will take you to the window of the last link which was opened.
- "Open as tabs in new window" will open all your selected links in another window.
- "Copy to clipboard" lets you copy link text, url targets or both at the same time which can then be pasted into a note pad, excel or anything else that takes text.
- "Add to bookmarks" will save the group of links as bookmarks into a folder which you can name.
- "Download links" lets you download the links to your desktop for later viewing.
Appearance Tab:
- "Selection colour" is the colour of the selection box which you draw.
- "Links colour" is the colour of the border which highlights selected links.
- "Selection box width in pixels" lets you choose the thickness of the selection box.
- "Links border box width in pixels" lets you choose how thick you would like the border of selected links to be.
- The selection box and link border style can be changed to solid, dotted or dashed depending on your preference.
